For ‘Wavemakers’, a selection of students of DJ School Amsterdam will periodically work towards hosting a club night at this iconic location. In the process, they are guided by both parties in learning all the aspects of turning a concept into a memorable event.
The DJ’s go through a trajectory in which they experience everything that comes with organizing an event, and will of course be headlining it themselves.
First edition: Friday, January 23rd, 2026.
The Schip Veronica, located on the docks at the lively NDSM-Werf, is a nostalgic, historical landmark in Dutch media.
But more than that, The ship is an in-demand and renowned club venue with an A-league sound system, where dance, culture and education come together. Each time, four selected DJ’s will be making waves and history, again.
