Inspiration
Using our BIG FOUR formula we will reflect on personal development, how DJ’s communicate with their audience and how they get people into a flow.
Facilities
Participants will use their self selected favorite dancetracks to create a dj set, Psychologist Job Boersma will analyse group interactions based on your teams specific points of focus.
A unique experience
The DJ Perspective combines the best of an energetic workshop and an innovative reflection with a lasting effect on your team’s daily work. Besides getting behind the decks and feeling the kick of Djing, it offers an inspiring insight into how your team communicates and will reveal new sides to the team members . By unraveling the secrets of the craft, the workshop offers reflection on group communication, leadership and problem solving within you team.
Mind-blowing change
After a central interactive introduction on what a DJ really does, we dive into personal identity, interaction with your audience and how to present yourself using our Big-4 method as a reference. After 15 minutes the group splits up in small groups (max 5 persons) to let every attendant share their story behind their favorite dance track. These tracks will be used for the mission: create a playing order and mix them into one non-stop dj set.
Psychologist Job Boermsa will be present to analyse group interactions. For example, who takes the lead, who follows or drops out? How are problems solved? What is the group’s energy and dynamics? Specific subjects of focus will be selected based on your companies focus.
Epic climax
The euphoric peak of the DJ Perspective is when each team member plays they’re mix live during the final presentation. More than once, we’ve seen even the least music-minded people show a rarely seen side of them during the epic climax of the workshop. To get the most out of The DJ Perspective, we are open to pre-discuss hot topics amongst the team and define the setup of the workshop together.
For the P&O Summit 2018 ‘AMPLIFIED’ we produced the theme song, trained the leaders to perform at their closing party and gave 4 DJ EXPERIENCE workshops with focus on building on a social environment that encourages the expression of individual and company identity in order to build a stronger P&O.
